This is the go-to hem for anything more formal where you don't want to be able to see a line of stitching on the bottom. It is called a blind hem for obvious reasons -- you can't see the hem! Amazing! And professional! To do this, you need to have a blind hem foot for your sewing machine.

You might remember Tracey from ThreadHeads Episode 7: New York fashion. What we didn't tell you is that she sent in another video on how to hem a pair of pants. This is a great bit of knowledge, especially for myself, since I have to hem almost all of my dress pants (and some of you may be able to relate). Hey, it looks much easier than it is because you gotta get the measurements exactly right or else you'll end up with one pant longer than the other.
