LOL thats so cute! Now i have to hand sew everything! i dont have a sewing machine and my fingers are begging me! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do another jonome sewing machine give away! I'm your guys biggest fans and I've made so many things out of new clothes! you guys really opened my eyes to all this recycling stuff and all my friends are really impressed by my sewing!
If you want to reuse a lumpy pillow filling, it's fiberfill not cotton, you need to recard it first or your new creation will be as lumpy as the old pillow. If you don't want to spend -60 on real carders go to the pet department and buy two "slicker brushes". They run -10 each. For how to card check out sites, including You Tube, on Fiber preperation. It is the same process as getting wool, or any other fiber, ready to spin.
I agree, I didn't like this idea as a scarf much but it's a great technique for that stuffed snake Amira mentioned or the bracelet/belt they showed!
Also Corrine...tutorial on the headpiece please!!!

Lolol, what the hells a Dookie Scarf? :)
I may use the little tubing technique and make someone a recycled stuffed animal snake thing for the holidays.
The scarf is very cute along with the bracelet. But I really liked the headpiece Corrine was wearing. Did you make it and how can I? If not where did you get it? Rob and Corrine your doing such a great job with the show and so is everyone behind the scenes.
I love this scarf, I don't know what you're talking about crittergirl. What gaps? I too might widen the tube, but it looks warm and fun. Too the fabric scraps.
Not sure I like this as a scarf, it doesn't look very warm, the wind would go right through the gaps, and where I live it already dipped below zero a couple of times. I might widen the tube and make something more scarf shaped.
