How to make a Dress out of old Sweatshirts with Rebecca Turbow, Threadbanger

Rebecca I love the concept but if I put a scarf on that dress I would look like a grey on grey 
Shar Pei.  I think you should locate the geometrics strategically so that intimate apparel doesn't make an appearance and make the waistline just under the breast leaving a long pencil skirt.  I would then wear that dress. >=)

i couldn't tell about the sleeves & neck either, but I think the simplest would be to just do a binding.

I would like to see the pleated skirt (was it a wrap or a kilt or a skort?)that rebecca was wearing, that looks like a cute flirty thing to make.

You could also add to bottom of the sweatshirt dress to make it longer, maybe even a long ruffle or two?

Yeah, how are you supposed to attach the arms and neck? They look smaller and finished differently? Anyone know?

First, it's`a sweatshirt not a sweater. I'm think that usuing an actual sweater for this project could be disasterous. Also, i'm not sure i'd call that a dress, tunic top maybe, but dress? if ya have to wear leggings under it, i would have to classify that as a shirt or tunic. Second, please don't try to cut circles with a rotary cutter, it's not easy for a first time user.

i don't get how to do the neck line and sleeves? can some one elaborate plez?

Making the circles was a cool idea, the method that was shown to me at colledge was to take a lining of the same shape of the garment place inside and attach by hand, much easier method with  iron on interfaceing.
