I love this site I just learn the word upcycle how cool! I cannot wait to made a caplet for my grand daughter and may try my hand at sell somthing like this on Cragislit or etsy! I've been agonizing over what to give my mom for Mother's Day; this is perfect! I also happen to know that my dad ripped a hole in the belly of his uber-expensive designer sweater and is planning on throwing it out. I am so going over to my parent's house right now! Hey!!! i would like to see something more for spring like making a one shoulder t-shirt from old t-shirts....and i just became a fan on facebook....and i left a comment saying that id like to deconstruct my old jeans(flare,wide leg etc.) to make them into skinny jeans!!!! im sure youll find a way!!!! :) snip...snip

As someone who lives in North Carolina also, I will say it is way to hot for a caplet and it is only the beginning of May. Still awesome, I will remember to save this project for the fall. On a funny note, my boyfriend commented while I was watching this. "Stay away from my sweaters..." Thanks Threadbanger!

Yaaaay, guess who JUST finished her own capelet for her wedding... literally, the only step I have left is sewing on the closures. It came out well, though, so I'll post some pictures. Probably with the matching gloves and mask. And, y'know, the DRESS. Which, sadly, I did not make. Meh.
