i made pants like that a couple of times (thanks to cut-out+keep), but instead of cutting the middle of the t-shirt i cut the side seams, that way the logo doesn't get cut and youy get only one seam on the legs...

oooo I forgot....what kind of size ratio is needed here for the tshirt to shorts conversion? like if you're a med top but an XL bottom? which size do I go with??
