X-mas in July, Threadbanger Projects

i loved it.. although i did have trouble but only with the eyes the reason was that i had buttons instead. that was the only troubles other then that it was easy like pie. i really woud like to learn how to make other different creature.

I made this but with khaki's. The only thing I had a problem with were the arms. I couldn't turn them inside out :(

yea.. i made one and it ended up looking NOTHING like this. the directions were a little hard too. i'm frustrated

The stuffies are so CUTE! I like it. As for Xmas ideas. . .how about homemade journals or scarfs, mittens, GLOVES, or other things. OH! Or how about a handy case for holding your MP3 player (not Ipod - we don't all have it! So it should be universal) when it's cold outside, so you can work it when it's cold and you don't want to take it out. Thanks!

i made a version of this over the weekend - i used a pillow for the main body so i only had to stuff the arms and legs. i gave it to my friend, who just found out she is pregnant, as the beginning of the baby's new room. she laughed so hard she started crying when i gave it to her.

Hey, I'm trying this out right now- is anyone else having a really hard time getting the palms to work? In all of my test attempts so far, I haven't been able to get to the last step without it puckering or something else awful.

This tutorial is awesome and the stupid creature is so adorable. I'm definently going to make a couple of these as part of my handmade pledge christmas. Also, it looks as if the mouth could function as a "pocket" It'd be super neat to give him to someone with a mouth full of candy canes!

Hey Threadheads, So I have tons of T-shirts that have no flair at all. I was wondering if you could to a lesson on either how to add ruffles or somehow add a very classy or elegant or vintage flair to them. I love having timeless looking pieces in my closet and the T-shirts are just there for days that I don't feel like dressing up but I want to wear them mkre often. Please Help!

I met John at his studio for the studio walk a few weeks ago. Super nice guy. He also does custom work out of clothes... much cooler than an heirloom quilt or something. My friend is going to turn all of her daughters memorable outfits into stupid creatures. Way to represent Asheville!

I am having trouble with the episodes and how they play. They play for a few seconds, stop, continue loading, then play a few more seconds. I have high speed cable. Any thoughts or helpful hints. This trouble has been since the newer format of threadbanger.

I met John at the American Sewing Expo last year and took a couple of his classes, really super neat and talented guy! I was able to adopt one of his creations, little Georgi Malour Balfor. :-) Diylobotomy: John had several of his monsters on display at the convention and he had a few backpacks and purses as well!
