How-to Make a Rockabilly Summer Outfit, Threadbanger Projects

I am trying to figure out the waist measurement and my waist is 28" so... I ended up with 4.62" for the half circle? is this right? and am I measuring that from the centerfold outward? thanx

i've got this old leather jacket that is huge and i would like to make something out of it because i don't want to waste leather I was wondering if you could help me make it rock

I really liked this but I wouldn't think swimming in a bathing suit made from that material would feel right if you swam in it

The whole 'Grease' thing is pretty offensive to the people who actually live the Rockabilly lifestyle on a daily basis. And in all honesty, this is way to much work for something that has only a small hint of vintage style. Much easier to get a repro at Target that actually looks more accurate to the time period.

Thanks for the easy circle skirt tutorial. You explained it very well compared to all the other instructions I have read teaching you how to make them. Now I don't have to ruin so much fabric because I measured wrong.
