Love that top Karin. Those chiffon kimono type tops are becoming really popular and are great in the summer time. I've made a couple myself but working with that light airy fabric is tough. Have a tips on working with chiffon and other light fabrics like that?

Heya Threadbanger! I know I posted once before with a different idea, but forget that. I have a challenge for you! Dun dun DUUNN! Ok, here's the deal; I now have about 5 to 10 spaggetti strap tees that I dug out of a goodwill bag. Problemo is, I don't know what to do with them. I can't make strapless tops, they are a bit too baggy for me, and I really don't know what I can do with - basically - a tube of fabric. Do you have any suggestions on what to do with it? Thanks and I love your show!

I love, love, LOVE when you have Project Runway designers on the show. It's so fun to have them bring what we've seen them rock on the runway and translate it to an accessible DIY project.

I was thinking of doing something like this [painting fabric] cuz I couldnt find the fabric I wanted at an affordable price. Now I can make my own...and I know now what type of paint to use...yay...thnx.... Hey...here in a florida flea market I found this fabulous skirt I will be trying to make myself....its called the sari skirt dress....its kindda like the infinite dress....it can be work in many different ways...but I can only find it in colors that I never wear so wish me luck!

I think that the worst summer trend is those jumpsuits. They bug the hell out of me, they just remind me of a onesie!

Corinne.I love that blouse! Did you make it? If so, a tutorial would be smashing! I agree about the skinny jeans having to go! They are not flattering, and the new twist on them from the 80's is a baggy butt! Yikes!

I realized I had no idea what the summer trends were soo... I googled it. Turns out "uber short shorts" are a trend. They look like granny panties worn on the outside. Must Go!

I want shoulder pads and harem pants to go bye bye. We already made that face lunge in the 80's... my mom still talks about how much she regrets them... can't we learn from history's mistakes?

The trends I want to see disappear... FLANNEL... ugh. And also the old school farmstyle dresses I've seen springing up all over in stores. I'm also not a big fan of the tiny fake leather vests sold with women's t-shirts in the stores... I don't even like seeing them on mannequins.
