An EASYYYY way to make a necklace like this just cut and stretch out tee fabric no sew and still comes out cute

This is an awesome necklace, but it takes waaaaaaay more than 1 hour. (coming from an experienced sewer), Still a great project if you want to use scrap fabric :)

I discovered you guys last night..it's now morning, as in the sun will be rising within the next hour. LOVE YOU! I'm going to naughtily buy a sewing machine this week! I'm a crafty chick who knits and crochets (as well as many other things) but I REALLY want (after hours upon hours of trying to find an old dress to convert) to make my own costume this year. I'm dressing up my youngest as a lolipop guild kid (making the costume out of repurposed clothes) and I would like to be Glinda the Good Witch! I can figure out the hat, I can figure out the star septar..cepter? (it's 530am, please excuse) but I have no idea how to make a dress. I saw your awesome videos on the wedding dress and Tshirt dresses of this sort or the other but I need to make a GOWN a big honkin' one, so any thoughts on the matter would be GREATLY appreciated. - I should be getting the webcam I ordered on Monday and I'll start sending in stuff! Snip, snip, snip, snip!

I think it's cute! But isn't an easier way to make this, just cutting Tshirts in 1inch width strips and than pull them as hard as you can (not snapping them off course). Sew the ends together and you have same type of necklace but a lot quicker! ^^

I like it. It's simple enough for beginners and it's a fun way to where some of your favorite fabrics as an accessory.

All of my friends and I art dressing up as the characters from the wizard of oz. I'm being the scarecrow and want to make a kick ass costume. I'm not dressing up like the movie because that was too simple. If anyone has any tips for an awesome scarecrow plz help.

this is sooooo cool, i love it an it is really easy, by the way, a little request for halloween, maybe some costumes that look great, but don't take too long and are easy, i had some trouble with some past costumes... hehe. i might sound lazy but it would be a huge help, THANKS, great tutorial!

That was a cool project, super easy and super fast. I would of been nice if the time for this project was 10 to 20 minutes instead of 1 hour. I guess the hour is for slow learners.

Great idea, let me tell you about this secret trick my m.i.l. told me. If you make these strips, put a piece of sturdy string, or small rope in it,and than sew it together like you would when making piping, make sure not to sew through te string !! Sew together real well at the top and make sure the rope is longer than the strip. Now you can easely pull the strip over the string. Voila, just cut off the little piece of strip where it's attached to the string and you are done. It works and it's so much faster than the safety-pin methode... Do try!

I really like this project; super easy and stylish! Some things that I noticed was that it takes one hourS to make. Yes, typo madness! Also, Desira did speak a little quickly, perhaps it's a Brooklyn thing? I don't know. By the way, commercials seem to be stopping; I'm on the second time watching this, and I only just got the commercial. Didn't even see a commercial during the first view. Was it on purpose? Either way, great tutorial as always, this is DEFINITELY on my to-do list. Yay! And back to school isn't in full effect quite yet; I don't go back until the 9th. Not very good when you have grumpy brothers!
