Very cute. I think I might use 2 gloves (maybe miss-matched) sewn with palms together for a decapus, or maybe I just might call it a tentacle monster, to make it less flat. I wonder if that will allow it to sit up on its tentacles... That would be neat.
A good tip for sewing on buttons and things to stuffed animals and such. You can either sew it on before you close it up so that your knots are on the inside or when you're done, poke the string though to the other side and snip is from there so that your tails are inside instead of out loose and more likely to unravel.
This is a great way to use some of those pair-less gloves we always seem to end up with after a few snows. Do you have any ideas for the pair-less socks... I think the dryer eats the mates ;-)
maybe stuff the sock, and sew the ends together to make a donut, then sew on face for a donut buddy? idk that's all i got ;)

I made a bunny out of 3 of my hubby's old socks for our son. His were just worn in the heel but I think a miss-match bunny would be really cute. Otherwise, you could stuff the socks and sew in sections to make a caterpillar or use two miss-matched socks stuffed and sewn together and get something that looks like those 2-flavored gummy worms. You could also wait until you had a bunch of socks and make a larger quintapus or hexapus or what-ever n-apus you want depending on how many socks you have. You would just have to figure out what to use for the body.

These are even more good ideas. I have quite a few socks to use too so I can try out several different ideas. Thanks!
