hey i made the lay gaga bra and it only cost me £4 for it i took an old bra ( thin) and i went to charity shops and carboots to find studded items like belts and braclets after i collected a reasonable about, i traceines with chalk on the bra and pushed the studs through it was so simple and looks great i also did the same with an old bikini :)

take out the wire and straps add a liner and make a change purse

you could always take the studded bra and turn it into a small clutch or purse by sewing the two cups together and sewing a zipper at the opening. just an idea :)

WOW! so many style icons but the one that i fav the most would be KAT VON D!!!! This L.A. girls has alot goin on with tattooing and her life and what not but she always has time to make her own t-shirts. I would love to have her style any day not to manchion her make up!

No idea what you could do with it now, but this might help some folk in future. The cost of studs- I recently had a studded belt break on me (cost around £7 in the first place) and I rescued the studs before chucking it away. I've now used them to decorate some boots and I still have loads left as there were shit tons on the belt. Maybe you could find old studded belts in thrift stores and that would be cheaper? - G

Hmmmm.......... I know! You could take the cup you studded and make a small hat with it and add a rim and a couple of bobby pins to keep it in your hair.!

oh yeah you could take an old tee or some left over fabric and recover the bra to make a new bathing suit top with support! Also you can cut the straps in the back and tie around your neck like a halter.

if you can straighten the studs pretty good you use them to help hold fabric for recovering an old char or to help keep fabric on an old sofa or loveseat.

you could get a old belt with studs and take them out so you could used them for the lady gaga bra....

well i love the idea of the diy lady gaga bra because i absolutely adore the lady. as for the stud bra i would just think that lose studs would poke into your bosom and i would hate to see a nice bra go to waste so i think you should turn it into a purse. you can cut the straps off and sew it together half way then for the other half sew in a zipper, attach a strap then you have yourself a nice little purse. if you google bra purse i think you may see one. good luck and all the best to you.

I've turned an old bra into a clutch/coin purse im thinking about making another. its just cutting the back support peices off and then sewing along the bottom  then installing a zipper along the top curve of the bra.

Hi Friend! Why dont you cut out the bra with the studs, add some chains, and turn it into a shoulder pad for a blazer or Tshirt.  I buy my studs off of a seller on Etsy that sells 100 for .50. The only buzzkill is it takes more than 3 weeks to get them, but saves a TON of money.

i am liking the gaga bra but i'd really love you to do a tutorial on how to make the grey fingerless gloves with the wrap wrist fastening in her pokerface video. i'd love to own a pair, but working with leather fabric makes me nervous lol.

If anybody just happens to be in Mexico you can find studs in malls and markets for super cheap. Also check out vintage crafts store online for star shaped studs. :)

Neat idea with the sparkles but... wouldn't they rub off eventually...? idk.  As for the problem for what to do with the  studded bra, there are tutorials on the internet on how to turn a bra into a purse.  With the studs, it could look pretty snazzy.

I realize this is unrelated to this project, but I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how to make your own ipad/ipod/mp3 player cases.  I can't figure out how to combine all the requirements of storing electronics (sturdy, soft, tightly fitting, functional) and make it at home. Help!

Also for the test bra, you could do the other side and mount it on a board as wall art, I've seen people do that before with painted ones and it looks kinda neat.

If the studd bra was an epic fail, just take out the studs and redo the bra with something else? Re-use the studs for something else.

I love the look of the glitter bra but was wondering if spraying some sort of shellac or coating it with another layer of glue would be helpful. I like glitter, but I don't like how glitter rubs off on everything else.

Not sure where else to mention this, but I would love to see a video with instructions to making your own high heels. I think that nothing would be cooler than to have shoes that fit you perfectly and that also reflect your personal style!

The best part of this video is where you talk about the failed bra and how you decided to do the glitter one!!  People who say they aren't creative often don't realize that there is a process to creating, they think that creative people just have perfect great ideas pop into their heads and they don't realize that creativity is often just being persistent enough to stick with something even when it isn't working.  I would love to see more of the process of creating! :)

I love the studded bra!!! Take the part you made and apply it to a dress with the same cup shape (like an evening dress) OR it to a pair of jeans as a one-off knee pad. I bet everyone will start wearing studded knee pads if you do this.

i understand that as your audience increases you have to change your material, but please don't let your show become all squeaky clean and neat- keep it real threadbangers.

As for the stuffed bra fail, when I saw it, I thouht, cut it out into a hat facinator and add hair combs and wear it sweety! 
Maybe add some tulle or feathers.....its all up to you!

I literally made this a week ago using fabric paint! The puffy kind in silver and black, and just make each dot one by one. The bras are actually made with round studs if you look closely, and Gaga's thong has pyramid studs.

For your studs you could go to studsandspikes.com it has a variety of different well studs and spikes ^^. They are pretty affordable if your going for yout basic stud but a bit more pricey for wilder stuff. A bag of 100 pyramid studs at 3/8" will but you back about .  It also looks like the lady gaga bra was not done with actual studs. It looks like those studs looking things that you actually glue to fabric. I'm not sure what the name is. I dont think you can actually wear the studded bra you have without it hurting either.

There is one on craftbits dot com/project/bra-purse , but there are a ton out there, I'm sure you could get a ton of inspiration just by googling it.

When studding over a compound curve like that you'd be much better off using cone or rounded studs rather than pyramids.  You can space them evenly without worrying if they interlock.  For poking the stud posts through thick material like denim or leather it's helpful to get a dart awl or you can use a steel tipped throwing dart to poke your hole first.  

It's almost impossible to buy studs locally for a good price.  AngryYoungandPoor is an ok resource but StudsandSpikes.com has a MUCH greater selection for even better prices.  

If the studs you used were of good quality the metal posts can be bent back to their original form and re-used.  From the video they don't appear to be very good though (The thinner material in cheap studded belts bends tighter curves better so the pyramid lines look sharper than a good quality stud) You may be stuck with your bra project.

Were did Corinne get her studs from? I know this awsome website that somebody posted on here before called angryyoungandpoor.com where you can get them pretty cheap. As far as salvaging that studed bra goes, I would just make a really cool bracelt or choker or just add them to some of my older clothes.

wow nice!!!!!! gaga is a super fashionista :). um lets see your studs were very expensive, you can always get cheap ones by buying a studded belt, i buy them all the time from this beauty shop near my house for only 5 dollars and in the biggest size they have for more studs. it is time consuming don't get me wrong. but once your done with what you wanted to accomplish its like perfect :). now putting the studs on the bra is another hard thing to do because of the form and shape of it. you might as well just glue them on so much easier :) or do as what you said put it on a another piece of material then sew onto the bra that could be another harder step so GLUE on is the way to go. love the glitter idea tho it was really awesome :))) if i was a women i would so that ahhaha keep up the good work :) and love all your icons you named all of mine and some more
