i thought this would end up being really ugly, mostly because i don't like tiers or really poofy stuff, but this was soooosooo cute. (and dammitall, my mom just threw away a big purple one >:( )

That is cute!  But yeah...I'd get those poofs nice and clean before I use them.

That is really awesome! I like the idea of the grommets up the back, but you might want to sew some boning up the sides next to the gromets (this stops it from gathering too much). But seriously, I'm really impressed! I want to try and buy a few red and black ones and make one myself! Thanks for the inspiration!
