Hey there Threadbangers! I don't know where the hell I've been for the past year and a half, clearly missing out on some Threadbanger goodness! I've spent the past week poring over your archives, and I must say I'm thoroughly smitten with your show. I blog at geekxnerd.com and I also sell crafty wares at geekxnerd.etsy.com if you want to stop by and say hello!

  • betty_beware wrote on March 22, 12:09 am

That is a great scarf I’m totally gonna make one. Not to state the obvious but isn't it a little late in the season for scarf’s? I mean today is the first day of spring, but it is adorable, even though Ill be boiling Ill still wear it^_^

  • Whitney M. (guest) wrote on March 23, 10:50 am

It might be spring, but we got snow in Ohio yesterday. I'll still be wearing my scarf! It is adorable, by the way :P

  • epic1313 (guest) wrote on March 22, 12:23 am

iTunes wasn't loading the video right either, so I guess it's not just YouTube. Working fine on here though. ... BTW - that's my hat in the background at the end. Yay!

  • curleq94 (guest) wrote on March 22, 12:59 am

please do a show on how to sketch fashion, i want to be a fashion designer, and have been sketching for a while, but just can't get that professional look

  • sewthernbelle wrote on March 23, 10:10 pm

never fear! The Sewthern Belle is here! I graduated with a degree specializing in Fashion design, so I will try to make a tutorial about fashion illustration for you! Now I never took a formal class about it (I had the opportunity, but I needed to take other classes to graduate) but I had an awesome costume theater teacher who sort of filled that gap and taught us the basics of sketching clothing illustration. So stay tuned!!!

  • CzarWars wrote on March 22, 1:55 am

i'm pretty sure i'm not the first to say, but those glowing needles are pretty sweet. you should probably have a contest to win a pair. huh? what do you say? or at least tell us where you scored them. pretty please?

  • CraftROBOPro wrote on March 22, 11:08 am

Yeah, this episode cuts off on all the feeds, including TiVo, but the Flash video above plays all the way. Hopefully you guys will re-up the download link here at least, so I can get the whole enchilada.

hey guys love your show I want to see a lilttle more of School Apporite clouthing. I have a little problem showing my style when i have to wear a uniform. Please help me show some style

  • lunarjade wrote on March 22, 8:28 pm

I downloaded the episode through itunes but it stops just as the two buttons for the Pidge Scarf are chosen. I tried downloading it again but got the same thing. I like watching these on my ipod... is this a problem with itunes or did something funky happen to the episode when it got added to the feed?

  • lunarjade wrote on March 23, 1:28 pm

I tried downloading it off of here as well and the file is still incomplete in the same place. Though I did watch the whole episode here and I enjoyed it very much, I do hope a full downloadable copy will come out.

  • cherriss (guest) wrote on March 23, 5:42 pm

How about to show how to crochet?? It's actually easier than knitting!!!

  • coolflame wrote on March 23, 6:26 pm

    hello everyone!

looks like i'm not the only one having problems with downloading this episode. i tryied both versions, but both of them end up at the same moment when corinne introduces mr. circle and mr. trian(gle). the ep ends here.

i ripped the video stream to see the whole ep, but it's in low youtube quality ...

will this issue be fixed? and when?

for those who are interested in how to rip the stream: i used Video DownloadHelper, an firefox add-on.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

please threadbangers fix this ep - WE NEED IT SO BADLY!

  • sewthernbelle wrote on March 23, 9:25 pm

I don't think any of the guys out there will complain about how this is a 'girl only' project...since it's not...it's unisex...and a bit more stylish and practical than traditional scarves I think...yeah...definately...okay...I'm done...

  • i_wanna_bang_dat_thread wrote on March 24, 5:45 am

    Oooh! Glowing knitting needles!

It would be cool if you guys could do something on sewing with stretch material, like how to finish the edge of garments, where to buy stretch material ( especially here in the UK), and which are the best stitches to use. Arghh! Please help me with my crafty confusion.

    Much Love

  • sewing_sophist wrote on March 24, 9:13 am

  • RachelPearl (guest) wrote on March 26, 5:15 pm

    I NEED those needles!!!

  • Jeannie (guest) wrote on March 26, 5:56 pm

Another fantastic episode! Corrine, I learned to knit with your tut in November of 2007 and now one of my patterns is being used for a Yahoo! knit-along. Sweet! Let the revolution begin!

For those of you who think this is too warm for the season, two suggestions: 1) Start making holiday gifts NOW, then you won't be in a crunch at the end of the year. :) This is good for anyone on your gift list. 2) Get a nice peice of frilly lace that is the same size, add the button holes and buttons, and you have a nice, warm-weather accessory with the same look. Change it to suit your needs. DIY knows no season!

  • sewthernbelle wrote on March 26, 7:15 pm

Oh I like your idea too about using the lace and the thing...sweet!

  • pigglewiggins wrote on March 26, 8:13 pm

Just one question. Why is it called a Pidge scarf?
And to the person who thought it was too hot to wear this time of year, it's always chilly somewhere in the world. I keep mine on hand to wear in overly air-conditioned theaters and office buildings.
They carry the lighted needles at that giant craft chain that starts with an M. I thought they'd be great for camping trips when it gets dark early but you still want to knit.
As for me, I'm knitting a rabbit right now.

I think it’s a very good-looking, and mainly, very cosy scarf for fall-winter. I’ll knit it for myself and my friends. Thank you.
