First off, we are taking a ride with the guys who started a really amazing project called Wearable Collections. Then we show you how to make a picnic blanket backpack out of all your old tee shirts. I loved the fashion show. I'm so glad she raised that much money to donate, and I think I've got some digging around for more eco-friendly alternatives to making my own. And yay, you used my tip. Holy Moly what a great episode! The fashion show ROCKED, Kayla! Whoo-Hoo! Go grrl. And the blanket is primo.
I made a "catch a few rays/ eat a sammich/ read a chapter/ watch an outdoor concert" blanket out of used (and cleaned) disposable (ie: plastic) table cloths (with the fuzzy stuff on one side) and fabric scraps. Fun patchy fabric on one side and waterproof on the other!

Loved the blanket idea :) This summer I plan on adding lots of summer dresses to my wardrobe. Could you guys do an episode about summer dresses (and maybe summer friendly guy clothes as well)? I would LOVE it! You guys really inspire me.

This episode combined three of my favorite things: Eco-Friendly projects, Threadless T-shirts, and Janome sergers! I recently purchased a janome serger with a "serger fund" I started in 8th grade.
It would be cool if you had an occasional show witth projects aimed directly at serger use. Maybe "serger sunday?"
If they started a serger sunday I would totally have to go buy one. Picnic Blanket Backpack RULES!

sweetness!!!! My Earthday advice is to stop buying books and use your local public library!!!! my local library even has an online library with downloadable adiobooks and ebooks all FREE!!!! (gads of professionally evaluated databases too) there are even quite a few crafty books online.....
I must protest one of your tips to "go green" Turning off your computer at night and then turning it on in the morning will NOT help. If your computer hibernates, just let it do that and it will use less energy to turning it off then on

the average american throws away 68lbs of clothes every year.
That's insane. Why not at the very least donate them to Goodwill or The Salvation Army? Hmmm.... I'll have to think of a way to start a clothing drive in my community!

I really want to purchase a serger, what are the price ranges? What are some "out of the box" ideas you can do with a serger?
There's not enough actual cool fashion how to's anymore. My favorite episode was when you showed us how to make a really cute shrug out of an old sweater. I totally did it myself and it's so hot! I really wanna see more episodes where you actually show me how to MAKE something hot to wear. Who cares about what all these other people are doing. I really don't care about some chick's fashion show where all the clothes just look really boring.
I thought the fashion show was great. All that money went to charity and she's so young! Maybe that part of the episode didn't show you how to make anything, but it certainly inspired people to try and do similar shows with charitable donations! Stop being so rude and try to come up with some of your own ideas.
I agree it would be nice if Rob and Corrrine taught us how to make every wearable item in the world but they are only human! It must be so much hard work to come up with a new episode every 7 days and I think a lot of people who make requests on here don't think about that.
I also agree that the clothes in the fashion show were nothing amazing but this girl is SEVENTEEN and did a whole freaking fashion show - what have you done?? hehe
whoa, how could an earth-friendly fashion show that raises money for charity be boring. And they DID make something this episode, btw.
Well, there are so many wonderful tutorials already, plus the amazing forums, so I'm sure you could find something new and fantastic there. I love that the shows are well-rounded and directed at making us more aware and responsible consumers as well as tapping into our creative drives. If nothing else, I challenge you to come up with something great so they can feature you in the next episode! Then, we'll learn a hot new trend from you! :)

nice serger...how about a tutorial on how to thread one of those bad boys? Cause lord knows my mama and I have a serger that's going unused cause we can't figure out how to thread the thing...and we lost the manual. help!
