ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS EPISODE!!
umm if ur a lil big how would u do this
Looooovvve it!! That bolero's just awesome. XDD And Rob's "Everyone Poops" shirt is hilarious, thy own creation or what? Love y'all, keep it up!
:o JUST what I needed! I've been needing to make some stuff to wear over tank tops and such for school, and this is so helpful. THANK YOU! :D
ok so i might have to enter that contest too.....
AWESOME!
I don't think the retail manager knows what "literally" means.... you can't literally blow up on-line...
why not?
pete, there's dictionary.com for your types. diy or die!
He meant blow up as in 'Increased in size dramatically.' Silly.
not only was that an excellent tutorial but threadless is the best site ever, everybody should buy from that site. rock out with your c**k out is def one of the best if you like red :)
Corinne, that was a great tutorial, and its also the cleanest and best stitched piece I've seen you make on the show! I love it, please keep up this great level of craftsmanship!
thanks! i learn something new everyday.
sweet tat.
i'm pretty partial to it myself;)
xoxo c
hey threadheads i just wanted to know how i could use an old, small bathing suit and morph it into a cute new one
threadless is such an amazing company! i have some friends who work there so i was super excited to see this episode. loved it! very nicely done. except bob's last name is "nanna" not "manna." :)
we know...trying to reupload a correct version. it sucks when that happens!
I have been watching since the sock puppet days and the last 2 episodes are great! Thanks for keeping my imagination ignited!
Would a polo shirt (the knitted kind with a collar) qualify for the contest?
Auugh! That T-shirt Recon is so cute! Dx I want to make one baaaad but I don't have a zipper foot ): Let alone I'm not that talented with my sewing machine... Threadless is LOVE. My friend has an awesome David Bowie-Fox shirt from them and I am in love with it. I had no idea they offered such an incentive to artists! I should have know this since I AM an artist >:\ I guess I will spend my week of vacation sending in designs!!
Please make another tutorial on summer wear! I've been looking everywhere for girl-fit swim trunks because I don't like my thighs and boy ones are always too long or ugly ): I've been wanting to make one but I don't know where to start, help me!! I will give you many muffins and brownies of love (:
sure!

i would love to learn how to make a bathing suit cover up!!!
duuuuuuuudes! second best episode EVER!

xoxo
you guys ROCk
I'm out of school for a while and am trying with all of my might to get a good job. Any tutorials on professional attire that still looks stylish would be fantastic!
I don't know about reconfiguring clothes - but while working offices I had success with professional attire by mixing vintage pieces (like vintage blouses/shirts) with plain modern stuff. The trick is not to go all vintage - but just have an item here or there - like a vintage belt or bag or pants or skirt - you get the idea...
The add for threadless at the start was Wayyy to long. More then 50% of the whole video and it took forever to load.
i wouldn't call it an ad. they didn't pay us for it. we featured them because we heart them. sorry if you thought it was too long. they have a lot of really cool projects going on.

Heyhey,
This very moment I’m still studying for my last exam but I’m already thinking about all the diy-projects I can finally do next week. Hurray! I was thinking about making a simple quilt/ patchwork-blanket with all my scraps from shortened skirts etc. Could you guys give some tips on how to get started?
Love your show!
i would start by cutting all the scraps to the same high .it makes it easyer to sew together.good luck in your exam!
cool bolero !
for the summer i would love to see how to make a drinkcooler if thats posibal.u rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great episode. The Threadless tour was really interesting, and I love the bolero tutorial! Keep it coming, Threadbanger!
(sorry for the double post, I accidentally replied to someone)

I actually did mine without a zipper foot (I know, bad me. I thought I had one when I started the project, but it turns out I don't). It does add a little bunchiness, but it's still possible.
ugh. i want to make that but i dont have a zipper foot. please do an "easy-saw"tutorial on something just as awesome. please please please? thanks! you guys are amaziiiing!

wow! this is one of the best episodes eva :) and seeing the bolero visually like that makes me really want to make it THANKS :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Totally love the shirt. I like it with the black and white it looks great!!
I absolutely love threadless and the adorable bolero!
I totally love the bolero! I'm totally going to make one. Will ya'll but up a tutorial on how to make or customize a backpack for school? I have no backpacks that describe me for school and found a bag that is the perfect size and color but it needs some...hmm.... DIY touches to it!!!!! So Threadbangers I need your help.
How long do we have to submit a video for the shirt re-con?
Awesome and inspirational as always.
Hey, go buy a zipper foot. It does not cost very much and you will use it for zillions of things.
sewthern belle here (email address changed so I had to make a new account) Cool lesson, cool artsy spotlight on a cool artsy company...I think this is my favorite episode.

I love Threadless! And I love Chi Town! Most of all... I LOVE THREADBANGER!!! If I knew how to really sew, I would actually do more than just watch (and love) your show! You guys rock, like, fo real!
I LOVED this episode. I'm excited to make the bolero. I've been looking for something I can fold up easily and put in my bag. I'll let you know how it turns out. Also, the Threadless offices might be the coolest things I've ever seen!
Thanks for being a total inspiration,
Rosie
I've been wanting to make that bolero for a while when I first fell in love with NY Couture. Thanks so much for the tutorial, I think I should get off my lazy butt and make it now! Can you put up something about making tutus. Like the nice ones that are on etsy (cyber goth ones not ballet) not the no sew ones. I asked before but don't think it posted :(
epp was awsome as expected. in regrds to future summer app, i would like to see a couple of skirts made or something. ihad a lot of fabric sitting aroung and i dont know what to do with it. i would get a pattern but i really dont know how to readone, and i think that yall have the coolest ideas.
super truper boooooooring the sh*** with this threadless - you've changed! i dont like the stuff you do any longer, it got boring and it's all about nature - sucks!
What's wrong with nature?
love the bolero ;)
I love you guys! Do you guys know how to work a mini sewing machine? The one I have is a Singer SewQuick. This is all I got, no regular size sewing machine so can you guys help me? This is a link to a picture of it: http://dyn-images.hsni.com/is/image/HomeShoppingNetwork/2349106w?$pd300$
threadless are awesome *drools*
Lovely
I love that you went to Chicago!!!
Hey guys! I absolutely love what you do. I've just recenlty gotten into diy and was wondering, since one of the hottest fashions this summer are light dresses could you find some ways to make your own summer dress? Thanks!!!!
You guys rock and I love all the suggestions and ideas that you have. You have inspired me to come up with so many ideas and the best part is that I am donating them in order to raise funds for United Way. Thanks and keep up the great job !!!!!
i would definately like to see corrine's tat. it looks fabulous.
Ahh!! Thanks for all the positive comments, guys! My internet's been down for the past two weeks, so I come to catch up on all my Threadbanger and I find this! Thanks so much, everyone!
Aw man, those heart and butterfly-shaped pins are AWESOME. I wish I had cool pins like that...
Her pins are actually used for lace and embroidery and for delicate fabrics. Not only do they look super cute, they're longer and easier to see. You can pick them up at most fabric goodie shops and use them on your next project!
you should totally make leg or hand warmers they are awsome!! peace out :)!!!!
Hey Thread Banger, I love vintage dresses, but always have a horrid time trying to follow patterns which take too long and are not unique or my style. I wanna design and make dresses without patterns that scream my name, fit right and look stellar.
thanks fellow design junkies, peace.
