i need help!!! and fast... i made this really cool bag, and my bag is big... but my bag is so big it flops over to one side when your wearing it ...i even put some bluejean in it and snaps but it keeps flopping over and i love my new bag but it lookes like a flopy mess someone PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM

Wow, a variation on shadow embroidery. Most people look better in vertical stripes, or on an angle. How about different colored shirts? Or using the left-over strips from one, or more, shirt(s) to create the strips on another, multicolors??

Great idea.You could go wild and try two different colored shirts,or shade different too. Do you have to cut the sleves off?For a girl ,sleves I think would be better.Have you tried it with??

I DONT UDERSTAND HOW THIS IS A "FITTED T SHIRT"

This shirt would probably look better after washing or two so the edges can really curl up and all the wrinkles settle in. Also, using contrasting thread for the bars would add interest. I'm thinking white thread with black t-shirts. The shirts really do need to be almost identical in size and fit, otherwise it would hang wonky, or be an uncomfortable fit.

To answer the couple questions posted thus far. Andrew mentioned to me that you could definitely use various colored tees, or lightly spray paint one so the other stood out more, tye dye another, etc. I've seen his other ones like this, some with even a shirt that had some writing and pics underneath so it was almost hidden by bars of fabric over it w/ the top t-shirt. I can't really tell what the finished product looks like. And, would the edges fray a lot? Hmm. And I'm really curious as to what this would look like with two different color shirts.

Funny thing is...I'm thinking this technique will add great details to a skirt I'm envisioning.
