Pssh, a couple weeks later... I have a hoodie thanks to this tutorial, plus the video on... Hoodies. :D Just add sleeves, a hood, a seperating zipper, and... It works. And I've gotten a bunch of compliments on it when I tell people I made it... :D One of the best feelings ever.

This video sparks a bunch of ideas. Gahh. I just must see other people's vests look like I guess before I cut up one of my beloved t-shirts. And, you could add a zipper and some sleeves and a hood, and, yay hoodie. :D Okay, maybe I just WILL make one of these vests now. :D

I bet you could also turn the shirt backwards so that it's solid in front (cover with pins/badges!) and with the artwork in the back if you're a designer like me who'd be heartbroken to halve a great tee design. >.>
