I stumbled onto your site and think it is great. I am from up-state NY and have a strong New England attitude(i.e. I try to make most of my stuff myself!) I feel that mens fashion is either pants or shorts. I fell in love with my Kilt as an alternitive. In a future show could you show how to make a quick kilt or even some kind of Utility kilt. I already know what to wear under it so please do not go there. Thank you and keep fighting the good fight. Sheprad

I've been doing a lot of spray painting lately and the fumes are REALLY starting to get to me. It would be awesome if you could show a way to make and customize a bandanna. My lungs would thank you for it.

hey threadheads i've been watching this for a while and I might have a few ideas. such as I took my dad's old shirt tailored it (using the pinch and pin method) and cut of the sleeves off. then i attached the cuffs w/ atleast four inches of the sleeve still attached to it, and sewed it to the shoulder. It became a quarter length sleeve button up shirt. It looks really cute. Also I took a over sized skirt and turned it into a strapless summer dress. I have done many of you examples. Also I have gone to stitch lounge! It is awesome! I was wondering if you had any ideas for pillow cases. In the sew subversive book there was a pillow case dress but it was a little hard to follow because I am smaller than the pillow case not bigger. Do you have any tips?

The fates intervened earlier tonight...Just as I was about to toss some old and ill-fitting clothes, I stumbled across the threadbanger videos. I am a DIY-er at heart but always felt the clothing world was beyond my grasp; thanks for showing me the light.

I just wanted to tell you guys that I recently found your show and site and I LOVE it. It rocks. You inspired me to go out and buy a new sewing machine, and in two days I completed 4 reusable grocery bags AND a adorable new hat. I plan on using the bags tomorrow at my organic co-op and wear the hat to Cirque De Solei on Wednesday. Thanks!

There was an episode a while back where two shirts were sewn together with lines and the top one was cut every other section to make stripes. That would make a cool tie.

hey thread heads! ok, first off i love what you are doing with the show! but what i think is lacking is accesories for guys, particularly jewelery. do you know how i can create rings, necklaces, and the like for myself that doesn't look like i'm trying to accesorize like a girl? thanks =]

I loved the vintagey clothes also, i was serching for project ideas and i came across a bag made from plastic, it was one of those eco friendly reusable bags. It would be really cool if you could do a show on it because i suck at reading directions

For Nick: Put cool pins onto the ties, and sew strips of fabric across old ties to create stripes. You can sew appliqués, patches, and do-dads onto them too.

I really like the music video thingy at the end. Also, as for suggestions for a show. Valentines day is coming up, and if I'm going to make a dress, I'd better get started. (I have that little procrastinator gene working for me) Can ANYONE help? I'm hoping for something pink (or red) and poufy.

I just got a new Fender Starcaster Guitar and the fabric case for the guitar is just a plain clack and I really want to personalize it and really spice it up but have no idea whatsoever of how to do so! If Rob n Corrine can put up a show for that I would be sot hankful! P.S. It would be really awesome if one of TB's crafty fashionistas could put up a totial or whatever in the post area for it it would be awesome too. Thankz!
