Everytime I read the work "Neckline" in the title I read it as "Necktie."  It would be REALLY cool if you guys found a pattern to crochet a necktie!  It would be AWESOME!!!  Come on.. please????

The crochet neck wuz awesome! I origanly ctarted as crochet and doodlez, But I've branched out to kniting,sewing,and better drawing.I've only recently foung u guyz and the epesodes R freaken' awesome! The only thing iz mom. She dosent understand my way of crafting. I wuz gonna use a purple shirt 4 a corcet, but my mom WOULDN'T LET ME !!! I'm going to do it anyway (snicker).She so pisses me off!

Stop using throw away gift packaging-make the wrapping part of the gift.  Starting last Christmas I began considering how I was offering the gift as part of the gift.  I wrapped things in scarves, I bought bowls and mugs at thrift stores to hold presents, and all the gifts in stockings were inside recycled food boxes.  Bows out of left over fabric or vcr tape.  Spread the fun!

I enjoy everything about Threadbangers.  You feed my creative need in all the area's of recycling fabrics and much more.    Thank-you!

love the show so cool... fav. earth day tip is to diy with recycable goods like pop can top earings and braclets and even belts. And use old coke cans to cut out desighns just diy reycycable style.

Earthy tips. Orange peels and egg shells are actually good for your garden.  And although tossing salt on slugs are fun, it will make your soil unfertile.

is there other crochet patterns to use on t-shirts i like htat one but i want to do more and if i jsut have the one pattern on all my shirts it might be weird...love the tutes...and is anyone from australia i know htere are ppl out there but i must be hte only on watching.

earth tip: use the water from your fish tank when u clean it to water the garden it has lots of nutriants that plants love just like using seaweed i guess.

Earth Friendly Tip:
Banish disposable coffee sleeves at your local coffee house by cutting the neck off of an old tube sock (approx 5 inches) and use that as your coffee sleeve when you forget your reusable mug at home. my brother has a rip the size of jupiter (about a foot long) on the butt of these pants he got at a thrift store. since he is diy impared im fixing them for him, but every way to patch them involves sewing bright pink heart over or under.since it's on his butt i thnk he wants something more suttle. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. the pants are dark green slacks

Okay...One earth day tip I have is for those of us who have cars.  Take that puppy to get a fuel injection cleaning service.  It cleans out your whole fuel injection system (anywhere the gas goes), it lowers fuel emissions for cleaner air and it helps your fuel economy.  A lot of places charge  and up, but a Wal-mart tire and lube express does it for about .  And you should only do it about once or twice a year...just think about taking it in every Earth day and you're good!  It's not something people realize when they think about helping the enviroment, but taking care of your car does make a difference.  

[heart] this tutorial! for Earth Day i would like to tip to set out bird feeders or DIY them yourself by getting a regular paper milk carton and cutting a square in the middle toward the bottom half and feed a straw through a hole on the side for the birds to sit on and put some water in there, i suggest this not only for earth day but in general so birds everywhere dont have to drink contaminated sewer water :) thanks!- Kathy

my favorite earth tip is to wear your jeans more than one day. it isn't gross or anything. it saves money and saves water. But for your underwear on the other hand I think it is better if you do change those !

hey love the show and i normally watch it on a pod-cast in my itunes but I'm having difficulties the last couple of decor it yourself wouldn't download and this last episode kept crashing itunes. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem or if it was just me :(

Earthy tip: cut off hte tops of your old milk bags and you've got an easily washable (hand) plastic bag for whatever you need. Perhaps you could use it for lunches and keep your sandwich in it, just add a clothespin and viola! No more plastic wrap or wax paper.
PS: use clothespins anyways for lots of you clamping needs, twist ties are such a waste.

I love this project! My suggestion is to cut out your soy milk cartons down the side longways and you can use it as a window box. Its great for herbs and small flowers and you dont have to poke holes for the water to drain!. Oh and go vegatarian. Thats great for the enviroment

Yay for crochet! My earth day tip is to toilet train your cat if you have one. No more litter down the toilet or in landfills. You COULD buy a toilet training kit, but since you're also a DIYer, why not just follow this tutorial? All you need to buy is a metal mixing bowl at your local hardware store.

Did I mention you'll never have to clean the litter box again?

Great episode!  Here's my tip.  Cut up an old sweater or t-shirt that's seen better days to use as dust & cleaning cloths.  It gives a purpose to what can't be repurposed, and works great on pretty much any surface.  Patterned t-shirts are especially good for this (and definitely have character).  Combine with eco-friendly cleaning supplies, and spring cleaning will be no match for you.

This was awesome! I love Cal. Here's my eco tip: use reusable cloth hankies and cloth napkins and towels, no paper! Bonus: they are easy to customize with your own art by screen printing or stamping with fabric paints.

If you're having trouble remembering to recycle, try setting up paper grocery bags next to all your trash cans, and throw your recycling in them. 
That way they're there to remind you and you don't have to empty them, the whole thing's recyclable!

Create your own DIY grocery bag and say goodbye to paper or plastic and say hello reusable goodness.  Also if you’re not feelin ultra motivated (as finals approach).  The organic Mecca known as Whole Foods has reusable grocery bags for dirt-cheap as you check out.  Take care!

okay so my fave earth tipp is   buy food localy.keep on making and does your tv really have to stay on when not in use?
