Sweet Skins at the Green Festival (Nov 14-16 in SF)
This year there will be over 125 renowned authors, leaders and educators as well as workshops, films, activities and an abundance of food, drinks and live music. Plus you can shop in the marketplace filled with over 350 eco-friendly businesses. Wow. I am so jealous that I won't be there!
Sweet Skins, one of the 350 businesses that will be there is a unique one, being that is a minority women's eco clothing company. Most of their clothing very simplistic, making it very versatile to wear and this year they've introduced many new products to their line, including hemp/organic cotton knit skins. Sweet Skins was started by Mira Fannin 5 years ago in her kitchen and since, they company has continually grown due to the high demand for clothing that is ecologically sound and ethically run.
I had a chance to check out the site and it has and abundance of natural looking clothes that range from loungewear to skirts, pants and dresses. These are the kinds of clothing that you can not only feel comfortable in, but feel great about purchasing.
