Cool Website Alert: BurdaStyle!
If you're into sewing, this is a must-bookmark website! It's an "Open Source Sewing" site, with tons of free patterns and how-tos! I love this "Danielle" dress - like all the patterns, it's in printable format, and you can view user creations to get an idea of changes you could make, fabric choices, etc.
Besides the patterns, there are fabulous user-contribruted how-tos for all kinds of things - from projects to tips and tricks to beginner basics... Check out this great t-shirt recon circle skirt by AlissaRose:
And there are plenty of projects for things besides clothing, like this cute drawstring bag by nikkishell meant to be used for reusable gift wrapping!
