Dookie Scarf How-to
The ladies at Compai were kind enough to share with us their awesome Dookie inspired accessory how-to! Watch the video here.

Materials you will need:
scraps or remnants of old fabric
scissors
safty pins
cotton batting
a sewing machine
Measure your wrist and then add about an inch for seam allowance.
Fold the strip, with right sides together, and sew shut. Turn tube right side out.

With the cotton batting, fill the tube very tightly.

Once stuffed, take each end and fold them inwards.

Hand sew both ends together. And now you have a bracelet.

Now to the necklace/scarf!
To make a necklace, cut some strips of fabric that are about 15 centimeters in width and that when all lined up equal about 7 feet long.
Sew all of the strips together (with rights sides together) to make clean seams.

Next sew the “long strip” width wise from one end to the other, creating one seven foot long tube. Pin a safety pin to one end of the tube and pull though to turn the tube right side out.

Now pin a safety pin to the cotton batting and stuff the tube.
Once the tube is stuffed, hand sew the two ends together.

Enjoy your new creation!
