The New Year ALWAYS brings a bout of re-dedication in the blogging arena, and to that effect here are some of my favorite fashion, style, and craft blogs that have already been making waves in 2009:

A Cup of Jo covers a little bit of everything - art, photography, home, style, relationships, and more - and author Joanna Goddard started the year off with her practically perfect engagement photos (by photographer Max Wanger) and a little list of New Year's Resolutions that included the oh-so-charming "dress like a French woman" and "take morning walks." As long as those walks don't get in the way of the seemingly (and gratifyingly!) constant stream of blog updates, I wish her luck on both endeavours.

bits + bobbins is a perennial favorite of mine, and after a tiny little blogging break (to welcome a tiny little bundle of joy), wardrobe_remix founder Tricia Royal is back in full effect. Highlights of her 2009 efforts include two of her always-enjoyable "wardrobe_remixers o' the week" posts and a thought-provoking discussion on secondhand clothing. I'm so looking forward to what the rest of the year brings.

Artist Kime Buzzelli has been keeping things at her blog, The Moldy Doily, WAY INSPIRATIONAL for a while now - and her forays into 2009 posting are true to form. It's a great place to turn to if you're in need of a little aesthetic kick in the pants; already she's posted on fiber artists and a friend's LA apartment building that was recently featured on The Selby. The craftiness and handmade vibe never fails at The Moldy Doily, and I'll be checking in daily. So - what online resources have YOU already been turning to in this New Year?
