Project Threadbanger's Triumphant Return!
If you haven't heard, I've been working to get PTB back up and running. Life nommed me up good a while back, and I lost touch of the internet in general. But I'm back with a vengeance and bringing PTB with me.
There's been a few small changes in order to simple things up a bit. Permanent judges so we don't have to worry about that silly rotating judges schedule. The three permanent judges for PTB are TomSawyer, glass__onion and patchwork_kitty. The rotating "guest" judges for January are klc1168 and jsedai_77.
There is no more 'registering' since we eliminated the rotating judges schedule. So anyone can participate as many or few times as they wish, and in any challenge! Also, that will eliminate the huge extra step of anonimizing the entries, because I think will a core group of faithful, permanent judges, they can be trusted to be unbiased.
We are sticking to the mini-challenge/big challenge system, but there is now a set schedule every month for judging:
New challenge - 1st
Mini-challenge deadline - 14th
Big challenge deadline - 28th
Judges ruling - Last day of the month
I'm hoping all of these changes will make things more streamlined and easier for people to participate. November was a rocky start, but I think it was a matter of bad timing and lack of getting the word out. Hopefully this new year will welcome the new improved PTB!
Check out the Project Threadbander Update thread for the current challenge. For more info and rules and procedure, see the PTB FAQ and the Super Final Rules. If you've got a challenge idea, be sure to submit it to thePTB Challene Thread!
