Worn Out: Street Style Picks
Yo guys! Here, as ever, are my top 5 favorite looks from the latest street style blog updates. Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section...

I thought the outfit on the left (from a January 27 post at Garance Dore was just staggering - never have I seen neutrals look so aggressive, and overall it's just an insane mix of fashion-forwardness and absolute comfort and necessity. The layered coat and cape is an innovative keep-warm method that doesn't sacrifice style, and the gorgeous handbag is an appropriate indulgence, considering how pared down the rest of the look is. The photo at right, from a February 2 post at The Sartorialist, is the truest take on androgyny I've seen in a while - this is straightforward, unapologetic boy-dressing, devoid of any feminine spins or irony. I love it, and I LOVE the Pee Wee Herman-esque white socks...

Both the above photographs are from Iceland's Reykjavik Looks, from January 26 and January 29 posts, respectively. I dig the look on the left for how EASY it is - the sweater/t-shirt dress is mega-relaxed but so pretty; she looks like she's out on a legitimate GIRL'S NIGHT - the kind where you're just hanging out with your friends and you look not only like YOURSELF, but like that very best version of yourself that you end up with when you're not trying too hard. I love it. While I realize that we're not getting the ENTIRE story of the outfit on the right, the chiffon and the jeweled headpiece this girl is wearing made her so resemble a disheveled little fairy that I found it completely irresistible. So pretty!
