Yo guys! Here, as always, are my favorite snaps from the street style blogs from the last few weeks. Leave your OH YESses and OH NOOOs via the comment section, and be sure to rep your top street style sources there as well. Here we go: You may have noticed this
last time we talked, but I am on a severe menswear kick right now. At left, from a

Street Peeper, this is an uber-feminine way to rock menswear-inspired trousers. The proportions of the outfit are interestingly odd and I love how hard the boots and jacket are against the lilac pants and silky top. It looks unstudied and effortless. The photo at right is from a

The Sartorialist for Style.com, and is as unfussy as menswear gets while still remaining absolutely feminine. The key pieces here - trousers, a tee, and a blazer - all fit fantstically, and the accessories are strong enough as so not to get lost. I'm sooo digging that bracelet - if it looks that amazing with a tee, can you imagine it with a simple dress?
These next two looks (the left from a

AltaMira NYC) are both super casual and yet completely pulled together. The first outfit is composed of typical Saturday afternoon fare - skinny pants, a concert tee, and a denim jacket - but the fit is so precise and the shoes and bag so unexpectedly GROWN-UP that it elevates the whole thing to Saturday NIGHT status. While the look on the right, with its military leanings and broken-in black denim, remains a bit more laid-back, it's those boots that keep his outfit adult. As is often the case, the well-worn and faded-perfectly pieces always end up looking the most expensive, no?
Alright, I'm fully prepared to catch some flack for this, but my favorite look of the week is the above. Hailing from a

Refinery29's Street Seen, I was way into this for three reasons. One, while I'm not yet COMPLETELY sold on this whole Spring jumpsuit revival, I actually thought this was adorable. It's folksy and interesting and proportional (and therefore not hideously unflattering, as is the case with many I've seen). Two, the way she toughened it up with the leather belt, pieced bag and killer boots was exactly the opposite of what you'd expect someone to do with a Holly Hobby pattern like that, and I salute ingenuity. So there. And finally, three, doesn't she just look COMFORTABLE? And HAPPY? And CUTE? I might look all three as well if I, too, had managed to sneak in an upcoming trend under a big cozy sweater, with bad-ass biker boots TO BOOT. And so, to this look I say: "well-played."
