Hey guys! Here are my top 5, absolute favorite photos from the street style blogosphere over the last few weeks - the theme this time around is COMFORT and SIMPLICITY, so jump on board and be sure to chime in via the comments section with both applause and boos/hisses...My first two picks come from, at left, a

Sea of Shoes. These were easily the most "rigid" of my choices this week; the first look is quite buttoned-up and dapper with her bow-tie and oxford and the second involves some pretty serious heels, but both were worn with such ease that I couldn't resist tagging them. I'm definitely into the crisp military vibe on the left - and I love how it's juxtaposed with a NO PANTS situation (what do you think is going on under there - hot pants? I'M INTRIGUED) - it's just so simple. Same goes for the dress-and-cardigan combo on the right - Spring dressing doesn't get much easier, and the colors are quite about killing me...
My next two picks really hit home with something I've been trying to embody with my wardrobe as of late: it doesn't need to be fussy to be pretty, and less is (almost) always more. The look on the left, from a

Garance Dore, is incomplete, I know - but it's just so the OPPOSITE of the preened-to-death, try-too-hard EXCESS that you so often see featured on street style blogs. There's just something so innately fresh about a look that could very well have rolled out of bed fifteen minutes prior, and sometimes all it takes is a delicate accessory to carry it through the day. It's the same case with the look on the right. From a

Stockholm Street Style, this is minimal effort equalling maximum impact. The shapes are fashion-forward, the pieces are work-wear basic, and again, it's the accessory that elevates this look - I wouldn't like it nearly as much without that hat.
The nitty-gritty! I told you guys it was all about comfort this week, and maybe it's the Metallica documentary I just watched but this kid's look knocked me out. From a

Hel-Looks (easily my favorite street style site; they give you little blurbs from the subjects about their outfit), this 18 year old is rocking not only an 80s Motley Crue shirt from his STEPMOM but that killer hat was a gift from his GRANNY. Never have I seen a teenager wear clothes from his parents and look like such a badass; he's clearly having fun with his style and wearing whatever he damn well pleases - even if your own tendencies don't involve metal bands and skinny black jeans, he's definitely inspiring in that sense, no?
