Celebrity DIY Style: Cloche Hats

The word 'cloche' comes from the French word meaning 'bell', which is how the popular hat from the 1920's got it's name. Cloche style hats are typically made from a soft material, have a narrow brim and feature a bell-shaped, rounded crown. Hats such as these can be seen in period movies such as Angelina Jolie's movie, Changling. However, it has become more mainstream to wear them out as seen by Katie Holmes, Hillary Swank, and the ever famous chapeau (adorned with a giant bow) worn by Arethra Franklen.
