When I was a little bean, I used to don my mom's skirts as dresses and twirl next to our peony bush.  20-something years later I'm excited to put on a better-fitting frock and do the same at Bust's Second Annual Spring Fling Craftacular Garden Party!  There will be shopping, of course, from over 50 of the finest crafters, bakers and makers in Brooklyn and beyond, but I'm in it for the workshops, including a vegan cooking lesson, screen printing totes and guerilla gardening techniques.  Then there's the goodie bag, raffle prizes (including a sewing machine!) and the opportunity to meet handfuls of like-minded New Yorkers - all for at the door.  Read more at Bust's website or just show up at on Sunday, May 17th to Greenpoint, Brooklyn's The Warsaw at 261 Driggs Avenue.
