Now that it's (almost) summer, I'm on the lookout for fresh tops to wear on hot days.  My favorite was worn by Jennifer Lopez who sported this very cute, heavily beaded tunic on the set of her movie The Back-Up Plan.  There are just a few similar pattern styles that lend themselves to this sort of embellishment:  Butterick 5219, Simplicity 2892, and McCall 5586.  When making these tops for yourself, be sure to us a heavier interfacing around the neckline since the weight of your beads and stones will cause this area to sag.
