Worn Out: Street Style Pics

Yo guys! Here are my top 5 favorite street style looks from the last few weeks - leave your thoughts in the comments section, and here we go: These first two looks (the left from a May 21 post at Copenhagen Street Style; the right from June 8 at The Sartorialist) were just so Northeastern, prep-school clean that I couldn't help but get on board. Each woman put her own twist on the look - at left, the headphones and busted-up boat shoes gave the whole thing an indie, collegiate vibe; at right, the patent sandals and contrasting leather belt lend her outfit a distinct fashion bent - and serves as a reminder of how important STYLIN' THINGS UP can be when it comes to making personal statements.

My next two faves, the first from a June 3 post at Garance Dore; the second from a June 3 post at GlamCanyon, are pretty much the most adorable things I've seen in a while. The look on the left is such a feminine take on a one-piece; I know jumpsuits are IN but the chambray material lends this a masculine edge that she deftly counters with the sweet little wedges and jewelry. And while the look on the right is nothing BUT feminine, she keeps things cool and sharp with that minty, melon green and metallic accents. SUPER cute.

WHAT DO WE EVEN HAVE HERE?? I couldn't tell you, to be honest, but something about this bedraggled, Jetsons-by-way-of-Heidi outfit made me weak in the knees. From a June 2 post at Face Hunter, this look is an exercise in contrasts. Lipstick with house slippers? A stiffly-constructed dress with a devil-may-care sleep peeking out from under? This, my friends, is cuckoo, Grey Gardens-style crazy in all the right ways, and I could not have been any happier to stumble upon it. Your thoughts?
