Inspiration: Portobello Market
When I lived in London I spent many days wandering through Portobello Market, it is hands down my favorite market to date. The people, the treasures, the food, its simply heavenly. I consistently felt inspired by the all the independent designers and often times I would leave Portobello market, go to the craft store, stock up on supplies and spend the evening creating.
I almost fell off my chair when I read that London’s famous Portobello market has gone online, “pret a portobello is a brand new fashion market on the net, dedicated to selling fashion and accessories direct from the world famous portobello road and other London markets”.
Since the site showcases independent designers from all over I wanted to share it with all you diy’ers in the hopes that it sparks inspiration and project ideas!
I’ve already eyed a few items that I think I may try to recreate myself, possible new Portobello inspired diy’s to come!
