How do I get the pattern?

I am looking to make a slouch bag or hobo bag. I am just beginning to sew and would like the easiest way to start.

I think the bags submitted so far are so neat. I have a question, on the blog page, down under Sew Along, there is 2 bags pictured. The first picture is the hobo that we are using. The second bag looks more like a slouch bag without the seam down the middle and the handles are different from the project bag. This bag has large bright print fabric. Is this a bag made from the hobo pattern, or is this another sew along project?  Sorry about the questions, but I love the second bag and would love to make one. Thanks!

Hey There,  What a fabulous site.  I've been a DIYer and re-purposer for my whole entire life.  OK, maybe I didn't start until Kindergarten.  Anyhow - I'm currently running a fund raiser for my in-laws adoption and I make messenger bags.  I'm using up a bunch of my own stash of fabric remnants, much of it being handed down from my grandmother and mother.  I'm also taking remnant donations and rummaging through thrift shops for interesting things to turn into bags.  Several folks have donated upholstery samples - big swatches that come in a binder and just need to be torn out and laundered.  Funky 70s sheets make great linings.  Nothing in my bags is purchased new (except for thread and sewing machine oil).  It's been SO fun.  Check us out.

Oh cool this looks like such a fun idea! I actually made a hobo bag with a really similar pattern this spring and it turned out pretty well. The fabric is this kind of shiny black faux-suede stuff with sort of a greenish tint. I wish I could post a picture but my ancient old clunker of a digital camera is broken...hope I get a new one soon! (P.S. a digital camera would be a great prize for a Threadbanger contest... :] ) But muchos thanks to Aurora199 for this cool project!
