Are you thinking about pillows now after watching Meg's podcast? Well here's another idea for ya! I saw the purl bee's Connect the Dot Pillows awhile back with these super cool french knot embellishments and wanted to try out the idea...

But I'm doing it a little differently, adding the knots onto an Ikea pillowcase I already had. And since it looks great with only a few sections filled in, but I think it will look awesome with many more, I'm just keeping it going as an ongoing embroidery project, to add to whenever I feel like it.

French knots are super easy to make (check out the purl bee's tutorial to learn how) and they give the pillow a really cool texture!

If you have a boring solid pillow, try playing with french knot designs, different shapes, pictures! Fun stuff!
