BurdaStyle threw a huge party last week in celebration of reacing 100,000 members! Their open studio was emptied of sewing machines and pattern tables as people from all over the DIY world came to celebrate. Nora Abousteit and Benedikta von Karaisl, co-founders of BurdaStyle, and their staff welcomed many fellow creative people from the craft and fashion realm such as the founder of Etsy, many independant designers such as Allison Kelly from Project Runway, and of course their online members. Congratulations BurdaStyle!
