Pins and Needles Indie Fashion Show
The Richmond Craft Mafia ladies along with Sew Ono ap*par*el and Erin Taylor designs have created and planned a fashion show to showcase all of Richmond's indie designers.

From the Pins and Needles press release, "The show will feature Fall/Winter 2008 designs created by local, independent designers. Slated for First Friday, October 3, 2008 at the New York Deli in Carytown, they expect a healthy mix of fresh, cutting edge women’s and men’s clothing and accessories. “We’re really looking forward to bringing this eclectic group of indie designers together. There will be a lot of diverse talent, and this will be a great platform to showcase local fashion,” says Mangano."
The show starts at 10pm with each designer showing just a sampling of their lines, after the show the designs will be available for purchase. Visit their blog for everything from meeting the designers, learning about the creative brains behind the show, to invitations for open female model calls.Check it out and go to the show if you live anywhere near Richmond- a celebration of free creative craftsmanship!
