Worn Out: Street Style Picks
Hey guys! Here, as, ever, are my very favorite, top 5 picks from the last two weeks of street style blog posting. Get ready, and be sure to leave your favorite hits and misses in the comments section...

These first two outfits are so unique, yet so similar in their brilliant eccentricity. While the look on the left (from a September 1 post at Reykjavik Looks) is sheer costume, it's also oddly wearable - the little bowtie is a gothic Southern touch to the bridal-like lace, and don't you so want to believe that the dress is of scandalous length and finished off with opaque tights and jewel-toned platforms similar to the pair at right? The second pic (and the wearer of those gorgeous shoes) is from a September 8 post at Glam Canyon. This outfit is British teatime-crazy as ait gets, and the pairing of the tights and leather jacket with the lightweight dress is an absolutely perfect example of an effective Summer-to-Fall transition look.

I was drawn to the photo at left, from a September 5 post at Johannesburg's Super Sneaky Street Scene, for its super-saturated colors. These color-blocked friends complement each other perfectly, and I especially love the yellow/green combo of the look on the left and the matching tights and lipstick of the woman on the right. I want access to both of their closets, like STAT. The photo on the right, from a September 5 post at Face Hunter, is just a fantastic end-of-Summer look. The jersey skirt and tee are mad comfy and breathable, while the patent oxfords and mega-statement necklace are trendy enough to keep things from looking careless. Just aces.

My favorite look from the past two weeks is soooo minimalist, and it hails from a September 7 post at The Sartorialist. It's a fantastic but simplistic mix of the feminine and masculine; the Greek goddess dress is tempered by its no-frills fabrication and kept extremely down-to-earth by the glamless (yet somehow chic) flat booties. So effortless.
Before signing off this week, I just wanted to direct you ALL to my go-to site for global street fashion, Feedshion.com. They've compiled of-the-minute updates from all your fave street style sites, and it's been absolutely invaluable in getting THIS column together bi-weekly. I hope you dig it, and thanks, Feedshion!
