Looking to make a duro-esque style for yourself? Try Simplicity 4072, Butterick 4849, or McCall 5137 in a border or all-over cotton weave print, a fine silk, or trendy mesh. The key to making this dress work is to use fluid fabrics that drape well. Materials with too much body will make even the thinnest gal look heavy, while 'delicate' materials will skim the body and give the wearer a beautiful silhouette.
