Hey guys (or should I say GIRLS??)! The last two weeks of street-style blogging have been narrowed down to these top five, all-around aces looks. For the second Worn Out in a row there have been some great looks from the ladies and not so much from the gentlemen - along with all love and disgreements, be sure to leave your favorite online source for men's fashion (street style or otherwise) in the comments section...here we go:
These first two looks (the left from an

They're so brilliant in the outfit at left - such a bright way to inject some much needed personality and individualization into what has to be her school uniform. And how great are those boots?! While the socks in the outfit at right are more seamlessly integrated into the entire look, they're no less pleasantly surprising. Her shoe-sock combo is a perfect ending to the whole sweet-pixie vibe that started with that crown of flowers. So pretty.

Both these photos are from Alta Mira NYC's fashion week coverage, and both women featured happen to be blog-stars in their own right. At left (from a September 27 post), Susie of Style Bubble channels a very modern Gatsby-Girl in 1920s-reminiscent layered dresses. It's the beginnings of an extremely feminine look, but it's saved from being too soft by that statement-making zipper collar - such a smart pairing. At right (from a September 28 post) is the oft-photographed Louise Ebel. Her look is uber-trendy but not cloyingly so; the combination of lace tights, booties, and fur vest - all black, of course - is so sharp and on point and interesting that all is forgiven in the trendbot department. I also really like the medium-sized bowler bag with this look...
My favorite look of the last two weeks is easily my favorite look of the last several MONTHS - there's just something so great about this outfit (from an

Face Hunter). There's a lot involved and at first glance the sheer amount of fabric can be off-putting, but the kimono is stunning, the trousers are an unexpected but PERFECT layering piece underneath, and the fit of both are just so flattering. The natural leather platforms and bag finish things off and keep it all grounded. In all honesty, I'm really just bowled over by how amazing she looks in this outfit - and there's so much to be said for her confidence. If nothing else, I'm taking THAT as inspiration and applying it to my closet daily.
