These women are both incredibly fashion-forward, and they're wearing their respective Fall/Winter trends well. The outfit on the left, from an October 11 post at Helsinki's Hel-Looks, is as slick as they come; the latex sheen, all-black color palette, and body-conscious silhouette are so this season, and overall her look just bleeds CONFIDENCE. The outfit in the photo at right is also a bold move, but in an entirely different sort of way. From an October 17 post at Face Hunter, the print is nuts and the colors are all over the place - it's a special kind of wacky that's getting lots of play this season. Her wound-up scarf is just icing on the crazycake, and I am soooo into it.

The photo on the left, from an October 13 post at Garance Dore, is a gorgeous example of perfectly executed layering. Each piece works together to cohesively form a menswear-inspired look, yet it all maintains a definite femininity. The kicks are what seal the deal for me; it's all so FALL-TASTIC I could just about die. So jealous. The photo on the right (from an October 16 post at Alta Mira NYC also inspires some well-intentioned jealousy - this man pulls off a thoroughly modern version of 1950s Americana in a way that I sometimes dream about at night. This seems to me to be a great example of how looks may go in and out of fashion, but if you always look like YOURSELF then you will always be in style. I find this fellow to be Very Aspirational.
