I think this is a good basic idea I personally think it would be loads cooler if you added some beads or charms, maybe knotted the strands for an almost nautical effect or even used different fabrics and colors, why not even combines this and the fabric manipulation episode and add some fabric flowers here and there.

I can tottaly understand some of the negative comments. Threadbanger was well made with good audio and camera quality. The tutorials were varied and awesome. But if you go back and look at some of threadbangers older videos they were the amazingness that they had become. Give these new people some time and give constructive criticism not lashings. New people do have to look at what threadbanger has already done though because pretty much the entire audience are past threadbanger watchers and no one wants to see the same thing done again and not done as well.

This is the second video you've done that's already been made on Threadbanger. :(

Judging by the video from this series, big and complicated projects should not be expected. I feel that these projects are aimed at people who don't know how to sew well but still want to upcycle clothing or help the environment. Why not use this applied knowledge in more complicated projects of your own?

I can understand how some people are being so negative. We've lost our fab 3, and are taking it out on the new hosts. But I do agree before posting something to TB, one should make sure it hasn't already been done. For those that are saying to send in your own tuts, many of us have, and to no avail have we seen any... (at least I haven't). Constructive criticism is not hating.

Nice tut.  I like no sew techniques especially when my sewing machine is grounded.  ;)  Cooler weather is on the way so it would be cool to see some sweater/sweatshirt/corduroy recons.  :oD

To the haters:  Instead of being ugly, why don't we tell her what we would like to see.  Lots of the original threadbanger vids were derived from requests we made.

Haters are constantly gonna hate. Some people are so negative, regardless of the fact it may or may have not been done before. Try think aboutthe effort that goes into making videothe time spent showing us stuff for FREE. If you don't like Don't watch or submit your tuts. Everyone wants everything handed to them on silver platter...grow up you guys. I haven't seen it before. She's new to Threadbanger scene here with us. Give it Chance before you shoot off the mouth. Keep up the good work Tracy

I really enjoyed this! I've never seen a tutorial where you don't sew the strips then spend hours flipping them right-side out. Very well done! 
One thing you might want to try for a more "finished" look is use a t-shirt with no side-seams. This will eliminate the little bits that kind of fray. 
I might send in a video for threadbanger but it'll be the first time I've ever made a video. What would you guys like to see? I apologize in advance for my bad camera skills. I'll be using my macbook's built in camera so it'll be tricky.

Hey, I think that you need to work on your audio. Every video of yours that I watch, i have to crank up my speakers just to be able to hear what you are saying.

Also, as far as the tutorial...it's been done before. Perhaps, when you get an idea for a tut, you could look around the site to see if it's something that hasn't already been done.

im so sorry.. but ive seen this like a million times everywhere... besides it would be more ecofriendlliy to unse the sleeves for smaller elements... couldnt you make a video on how to do studs on tshirts? cause they wont stay on it and that would be a great how to if you could show us some tricks, cause they are soo in style right now.

Is it really Eco-friendly for her to fly/drive around the country for this show? That seems a little.....stupid. Please look through the old Threadbanger videos before you make one. It's insulting to Meg, Corine and Rob to make the same things out of laziness

This was soooo boring and its been done before. Maybe you should look through all of the old Threadbanger shows before you think you have something creative to show us.
